Nothing of value is ever wasted.
Majeurs Holdings is a luxury furniture manufacturer based in Lagos, Nigeria. Our workshop designs and builds furniture for homes, workplaces and large-scale projects, pairing skilled artisans with production built to scale.
Building at scale means working with a lot of timber. We believe that comes with a responsibility to use every piece of it well. That belief is where Àtúnlo began.
Àtúnlo means "reuse" in Yoruba. It is also a commitment. Every piece in this collection begins as timber our own Lagos workshop would otherwise have discarded: off-cuts, surplus boards and remnants from making Majeurs furniture. Instead of sending that wood to landfill or burning it, our artisans grade, join and finish it into reclaimed wood homeware: bowls, trays, stools and serveware made to last for generations.
We follow the waste hierarchy: reuse before recycling, recycling before disposal. Àtúnlo keeps material in use at its highest value, in its original form, in the hands of the people who shaped it. It is circular design, aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
Timber off-cuts from our workshop are kept in use instead of being discarded, in line with circular economy principles: eliminate waste and keep materials in circulation.
Every piece is shaped by Majeurs artisans in Lagos. Reuse creates skilled local work and keeps traditional woodworking knowledge alive.
Aligned with UN SDG 12. Every piece is durable, repairable and backed by our satisfaction guarantee, so it stays out of the waste stream too. Complimentary delivery on all orders.
Our goal is that no usable timber from the Majeurs workshop is ever treated as waste. Àtúnlo is how we work toward it: before an off-cut is set aside, our artisans look for its second life.
Every piece you choose from this collection keeps good material in use, supports skilled local craft, and helps prove that luxury and responsibility belong together.
