A Living Material The Atunlo collection is engineered from high-density off-cuts. Because these pieces are a mosaic of different grains joined together, they possess a unique structural tension. This makes the wood alive. It will expand and contract slightly with the seasons. This is the mark of authentic, solid timber. (Each piece of wood has its own unique Patina and each off cut its own properties and shape so our items may have variants here and there)

You have purchased an item that will change.
Iroko: Will darken from a golden yellow to a rich, copper brown over time.
Mahogany: Will deepen into a warmer, redder tone.
We embrace this evolution. We call it "Patina" , the dignity of age. Do not try to scrub it away.
Polish: Each Atúnlò piece is finished with a food-safe tung and walnut oil blend. Simply hand-wash and re-oil whenever you feel you need to. We recommend every 3–6 months to maintain its natural beauty and long-lasting protection.
